On June 14th, Holy Cross School, Karbook celebrated World Environment Day under the global theme “Land Restoration, Desertification, and Drought Resilience.” While the international observance falls on June 5th, the school thoughtfully rescheduled its program to coincide with the inauguration of its Higher Secondary section and a EUREKA 0.4 (Science exhibition). Nevertheless, the spirit of the occasion remained as vibrant and impactful as ever. This intentional alignment allowed the school community to celebrate academic growth, scientific curiosity, and environmental stewardship in a unified event of reflection and inspiration. In alignment with this message, students, staff, and guests participated in meaningful activities such as tree plantation drives and a vibrant science exhibition. These trio celebrations initiatives not only reflected the school’s dedication to ecological awareness but also encouraged young minds to think critically about sustainability and innovation.
