Holy Cross School, Karbook, Gomati Tripura successfully organized a community outreach program to support underprivileged families across several villages, including Mohanta Para, Swarupa colony, Chandidas, Kalmoni, Ichachari, Kunjari Mog Para, Sitao Mog Para, and Mongal Chand Para. The initiative was carried out with the active participation of all teaching staff, Peace Club members, class representatives, and students. Generous contributions of groceries and clothing from parents and students enabled the school to assist over 60 families, bringing comfort, dignity, and hope to their lives. This effort was not merely an act of social service but a living expression of compassion and shared humanity. Special appreciation is extended to the Principal Fr. Antony Balan for taking this initiative and for his commitment to sharing love with those in need. The school community came together in unity, demonstrating the values of empathy and service that lie at the heart of true education. This program also served as a reminder that parental love and sacrifice are among life’s most beautiful gifts. However, when love gives everything without guiding a child to share, care for others, or give back, something essential is left behind. As the proverb states, “The wicked borrow and do not repay, but the righteous give generously.” Children should not only be surrounded by love but also taught gratitude, responsibility, and the joy of giving in return. Helping them appreciate and reciprocate nurtures a heart that understands both receiving and giving. The Management and Staff of Holy Cross School extend sincere gratitude to all who participated and contributed to this noble cause. The event reaffirmed the school’s commitment to nurturing hearts that give, and it is hoped that this spirit of generosity will continue to flourish within the school community.
